	Contract Options. Electron Microscopes. Options available upon request. Mass Spectrometers. Options 1,2 & 3 available. Surface Science. Options 1 & 2 available. Option 1 We will provide one (up to two days on site) preventive maintenance visit per contract year and limited labour and travel, for emergency call-outs only, up to the maximum pre-agreed level. We will provide telephone support during normal working hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm) for the duration of the contract. All parts used are chargeable over and above the price of the contract. Option 2 As Option 1 plus the following: We will provide service exchange parts, excluding vacuum pumps, at no extra cost. We will provide loan vacuum pumps for the duration of any vacuum pump repair at minimal cost. Option 3 As Option 2 plus the following: We will provide service exchange vacuum pumps at no extra cost, telephone assistance outside normal working hours by prior arrangement and unlimited emergency call-outs. Option 4 As Option 1 plus the following: An additional preventive maintenance visit (up to 3 days on site). Additional options can be made available in order to tailor make a contract to meet your individual needs. Please note: Contract Conditions apply to all our contracts. See below: All the contract options offer a fast response to emergency call-outs based on a best effort 48 hours from when the call is logged at A & J Scientific Ltd. Telephone support is generally via our Warrington Office, however, in exceptional circumstances, this may be direct from an engineer's mobile telephone. Before the commencement of any contract, we will provide an on site evaluation of the instrument to ascertain the instrument's condition and performance if so required. This will be chargeable at £350.00+ VAT per inspection. Faults which are highlighted by our engineer during such an inspection and not rectified before the commencement of any contract will not be covered by that contract. Catastrophic pump failures which are not repairable will not be covered by any of our contracts. Emergency call-outs which, in the opinion of A & J Scientific Limited, are instigated as a result of (a) operator misuse, accidental or otherwise, or (b) as a direct result of a failure of site services, may be chargeable. Consumable items, as defined by A & J Scientific Ltd, are not included in any of our contracts.
